Snow Resources

If a roadway is impassable due to a downed tree limb, residents should contact the Mayor's Action Center at 317-327-4622 to hear all available caller options. Using Option 2 will reach DPW dispatch. Residents can also use RequestIndy online or through the mobile app to report concerns at any time.


The Indy Snow Force Viewer mapping tool will be activated during this winter weather events. Residents can use the tool to monitor where crews have recently plowed snow or treated roadways.

Feed Indy

The city and Lyft have come together to provide Marion County residents access to $1 Lyft rides to and from their nearest SNAP-eligible grocery store. Residents can use the promo code FEEDINDY on the Lyft app for $1 rides. The code is valid for up to 8 rides. Learn more about the program here.

Short Term Rentals

A group has been formed in the city called the Coalition to Address Short-Term Rentals (CASTR).  The goal of the group is to help the city address issues related to short-term rentals (such as AirBNBs or VRBOs).  Please contact if you have any of these problems.  CASTR cannot solve the immediate issue but will share the information with the city to determine what changes need to be made.
